Based on my budget, these are the two setups I've finally boiled it down to. I'll be using an onky 705 receiver w/ PS3 as the blu-ray player. Movies/music (90%/10%). Mostly watch action movies and listen to Led zep and the stones! I have a smallish living room, approx 350sqft.

1. Monitor 70's for fronts
Cs2 for centers
Monitor 40's for rears
PSW12 for a sub

VS.

2. Rti8 - fronts
Csi3 - center
Fxi3 - rears
PSW 303 - sub

    Option 2, with a CSi5 instead of the CSi3.

If $$ is an issue with getting the CSi5 over the CSi3, I'd hold off on the sub for now.

Definitely agree with the others: Setup 2 with CSi5.

I am going to go for option one. If you follow the advice listed above you will turn into an audio snob. You will end up going around hearing everyones TIB's with your nose in the air saying to yourself damn these guys stuff sounds like crap. You will feel obligated to lie to your friends, and family when they ask what you think of their new surround sound system with "1000 watts", and little cute cube speakers.

Please. Please contact me a ben62670 @ yahoo.com. Make sure to include who you are, and you are from Polk so I don't delete your email. Also I am now physically unable to work on any projects. If you need help let these guys know. There are many people who will help if you let them know where you are.
    Thanks

WOW! Thanks guys, that was an overwhelming response in favor of setup 2. I was guessing some of you might choose the Monitor 70's because of the extra two drivers!!
