    We own it. I wasn't too sure about this soundtrack at first. In the movie, "The Bridge of Khazad Dum" sequence has some really strong singing in the back ground. Sounding almost like "barking dogs". My Girlfriend picked it up anyway and I haven't regretted it one moment. It is very consecutive to the movie; you can almost picture it playing through your mind as you close your eyes to listen. The "barking dogs" aren't over powering at all. I am glad we have added this cd to our ever growing collection.

    I knew Richard Harris died (God rest his soul) and they were searching for his replacement. I heard it was originally offered to Peter O'Toole and Christopher Lee. I didn't know Ian McKellen agreed to the role. Very cool.
