I kinda like it.....the REL T series took some getting used to physically as well.CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.

Yep, I cant wait to get that Rel in my system
Should compliment nicely- Not Tom ::::::: Any system can play Diana Krall. Only the best can play Limp Bizkit. -
I like the spikes on it. It gives it a real nice look with the med wood. I still gotta get my ears on a pair of Tylers...

Looks overpriced for what you get.HT/2-channel Rig: Sony 50 LCD TV; Toshiba HD-A2 DVD player; Emotiva LMC-1 pre/pro; Rogue Audio M-120 monoblocks (modded); Placette RVC; Emotiva LPA-1 amp; Bada HD-22 tube CDP (modded); VMPS Tower II SE (fronts); DIY Clearwave Dynamic 4CC (center); Wharfedale Opus Tri-Surrounds (rear); and VMPS 215 sub

Its very overpriced for what you get.
Thats why I didnt get one.
150 dollar driver, 300 dollar amp... sheet of MDF..
500 bucks in parts, maybe the veneer jacks it 100 or so..- Not Tom ::::::: Any system can play Diana Krall. Only the best can play Limp Bizkit. -
IMO, it's real dated looking."He who fights with monsters should look to it that he himself does not become a monster. And when you gaze long into an abyss the abyss also gazes into you." Friedrich Nietzsche

As far as aesthetics? or design?
As far as looks, it would be a perfect match to my speakers. The craftsmenship you have to see in person.
Hand finished, the works. They are beautiful speakers.- Not Tom ::::::: Any system can play Diana Krall. Only the best can play Limp Bizkit. -

You may be right about having to see it in person because I don't feel the same about Tyler's floorstanders."He who fights with monsters should look to it that he himself does not become a monster. And when you gaze long into an abyss the abyss also gazes into you." Friedrich Nietzsche -
I don't like the cutouts near the bottom of the enclosure, looks tacky like something out of the 80's.
IMO, that's the best feature.
I don't know why subwoofer manufacturers, esp. folks like Ty, don't build more subs that look like furniture. A great example is the ACI Titan (see pic). It looks like an a very nice end table. Most people wouldn't know it. But the new Tyler sub is a standard box. Even with a nice veneer, it looks cheap and uninspiring.HT/2-channel Rig: Sony 50 LCD TV; Toshiba HD-A2 DVD player; Emotiva LMC-1 pre/pro; Rogue Audio M-120 monoblocks (modded); Placette RVC; Emotiva LPA-1 amp; Bada HD-22 tube CDP (modded); VMPS Tower II SE (fronts); DIY Clearwave Dynamic 4CC (center); Wharfedale Opus Tri-Surrounds (rear); and VMPS 215 sub

Cheers,
