I'm looking for one of the built in amps from an RTi100 for a buddy. The binding posts broke off his and this seems like the easiest way to get him back up and running.

It's a longshot, but worth a try.

So we've pulled this speaker out again and want to get it up and running for him.

    Anyone?

Forgive me please for asking what may be not the smartest of questions because I have no experience with that amp but wouldn't it be easier to just replace the binding post? In theory, it should be an easy repair or upgrade...in theory, mind you. Like I said, I have no experience with that amp.

These use some special kind of binding post that are integrated into the amp that I can't seem to find anywhere. Even Polk doesn't seem to have the binding posts...

Is there any way you could finagle a good photo of the binding posts for us? No promises, but we might be able to hook you up with something.
