I removed the right channel crossover to pack for shipping and noticed that one of those black things with red wire wrapped around it and is strapped to the board is loose.I think it used to be glued down.Anyway there is a lead on both ends that have broken away from the board.I would guess this goes to the stereo driver.

That's one of the inductors. Resolder it to the board and you'll be good to go.Political Correctness'.........defined

I dont have a soldering kit and there isnt enough wire to spare to do so.What wire there is seems to have that red coating on it and there isnt enough to reach.SDA-2BTL with custom IC

Use 600 grit sandpaper on that coating and you will be down to copper. Any hardware store will have a 3.99 soldering iron. Make it happen! The world is full of answers, some are right and some are wrong. - Neil Young

Go to Radio Shack, buy a soldering gun, solder and some 20 gauge wire. Strip the insulation off a length of wire and make 2 pieces. Then, make a half loop at one end of each piece. Next, scrape or sand the red coating off a short section of each wire coming off the inductor and make a half loop at the end. Join the loop end of the inductor wire with the loop end of the new wire, pinch together and solder the joint. Place the inductor on the board, solder the new leads in the proper holes and use hot glue to secure the inductor to the board. Reassemble and enjoy your speakers.Political Correctness'.........defined
