Shoponkyo.com has 10 % off refurbs for the weekend, and has the 805 avr for $599, so 10% off then 10 points (dollars) for joining club onkyo, gets it down to $529 shipped. Not bad if anyone has been looking for one. No affiliation. Just FWIW

Also, $599 is the "club onkyo" price, so you need to sign up to see that price to begin with.

    I don't think it's a very good deal, for a re-furb. I'd rather pay $70 more, and get double the warranty for a brand new unit.

    I ordered up a refurb from clubonkyo and shortly thereafter I found Amazon had it for $25 less, for a new unit. I refused my clubonkyo delivery and ordered from Amazon.
    If...
    Ron dislikes a film = go out and buy it.
    Ron loves a film = don't even rent.
