blu ray burners

With blu ray technology being so new , I was wondering if their are any BLU RAY burners and/or software out their. Do they even make blank blu ray discs yet?

    Blank blu ray disk run up to $50 each!
    The burners are $300.
    I'm going to wait a year. Then I'll jump on blu ray.

    Did I hear you right, $50 each? Thats not even worth burning a disc for $50 each when you can get the movie for $30 or so. Do you know why they are so high.( Sony must be the only company with blu ray blank discs.) I was thinking they were about $5 each.

    I think for these prices i see a blu ray burner in my futher. I wonder if the sound (uncompressed, dts hd etc) is the same as well as the picture quality.

    Wow they came down to almost the price of buying the movie!
    I really think you should wait. I am going to. The speed will increase, stability, and don't forget the huge price drop. DVD burners are less than $30 on newegg.
