I have a nearly complete Revox H series, amp, CD, tuner and cassette with multiple remotes and original boxes and manual in mint condition that I want to put on ebay. I love this stuff but have three complete Revox sets and need to sell one of them. This equipemnt sells much better internationally.

Does anyone have any advice or experience selling internationally on ebay?

I know there will always be bad experiences but are there things I should look out for?

Is there anyway to make sure I don't get screwed?

Does Pay pal protect you?

Thanks

Peter

Wouldn't........ no one is "protected" especially once you venture outside the US of A....maybe unless you had the money in your hands....everything cleared and you have the cash in hand first......think the point here is to have cash in hand for item and shipping first.....:)

I would keep it until all funds are in hand. Don't ship until funds are 100% cleared. You can be very specific about the method of payment. Accept only cashier's checks in US currency or US cuurency money orders. Make sure they know they are responsible for intnational shipping costs.

You will only get screwed if you allow yourself to be screwed...

I refused to sell outside of USA and Canada, just too many complications to be honest. I also believe in spending the extra pennies with additional photos and very complete/accurate descriptions.
    Best of luck

As I understand it I must offer paypal as a method of payment. I also understand that paypal will hold my money until the item is shipped. So I may have a conflict. Getting a check and getting it cleared may not be an option.

Has any one ever gotten screwed by paypal with international selling?

This maybe just to complicated for me.

    Thanks for all your suggestions.
