I agree strongly with Norm Apter, you aren't going to get the full potential of those lsi9's with a receiver of that rating (or most receivers for that matter) Pre outs are what you need, with them you have limitless amplification options and with a 4 ohm speaker, this option is an absolute must. As Gadabout said previously, upgrading to the 705 should be your first priority after selling the RTI's and getting a pair of Lsi9's that is... Once you get the 705, look for a 2 channel power amp on the used market, if possible. There are plenty of high current, decent stereo amps to be had for a reasonable price that will do so much more than the amplification section of your receiver. Having the receiver still gives you all the benefits of the current video and audio technologies and allows you to have a fully integrated HT with a 2 channel set-up. Adding the power amp allows you to fully utilize the capabilities of the 9's for music listening.
