Dude's got issues.
He seems to play off too much. Watch him on the few Comedy Central Roasts he's been on. When other comedians start cutting him up, he laughs nervously and then gets that look on his face like "I KILL YOU!"
He's the comic that all the other comics make fun of.

Yeah but see, Gallagher doesn't care what other people think and while he's a love 'em or hate 'em comedian, he's pretty original in his work for a prop comic. Gallagher has never been the "Hollywood Comedian" type. He's stuck to his work the way he likes it and if somebody tells him he sucks, he smiles and says "That's nice!" and moves on with his life. That is a socially well adjusted dude.

He's on something, may not necessarily be steroids. I started looking for more info on news and stuff and lots of people focus on the "vascularity" of his arms.

Yes, he's showing some veinage there but low body-fat can account for that. However, his veins seem to be swollen every where. Neck, abdomen, chest...not just arms. He's either on a hormone treatment or 'roids I think. I rarely see guys with that kind of bulk that aren't on something, even if it's just supplements.
But typically, your body doesn't put on mass that fast. It takes weeks, months, even years depending on exercise, diet and rest regimens. Dude's getting stretch marks under his arms sides and just flat out looks swollen. Ripped dudes might get stretch marks but not that pronounced and they "deflate" usually after a workout and just look lean rather than swollen.
What adds to it is the cocky looks on his face in these pictures. He either has the "What's up now, huh?" look or a look like he's overly arrogant. Like he thinks he can take on anyone.
But big muscles don't always mean big strength. Often weight training for body building does not exercise muscle groups that really give you strength. It exercises muscle groups that while they become very strong, are large muscles that create definition. The biggest goal for body building is looks. Because I've seen him live. He used to go to Rowan University all the time and my sister was dating a guy in the campus radio PR office and she used to get free tickets. I've seen him get heckled by drunks and he doesn't take it well at all.
If it's the looks that he gives the camera like he's God's gift to prop comics then how does being an arrogant twit add to his act in any way?
Sure he might be doing well for himself and I'll give him props for that. People still make fun of him and he profits from it. But making money doesn't hide the fact that he's unstable about it all.
Gallagher was already brought up and you don't see that dude going all 'roid monster on the news and he's treated the same way.
In every interview, Carrot Top ALWAYS says he got into it because the only way he could "make people like him" was to make them laugh. He cuts himself up constantly in his act and "shtick" even in public. He has acceptance issues stemming from low self esteem. If he hasn't realized by now that he is a likable guy then he has other issues stemming from deeper mental illnesses. He may even be bi-polar.
I'm not over-analyzing him either so don't even go there. I've lived with bi-polar people and quite a few behave with the same patterns as Carrot Top. Famous people seem to break down and think they don't really need treatment because they are famous, how could they have this problem? I'm famous! Everybody thinks I'm awesome so I MUST be awesome. But it's obvious that they don't come to terms with it when they get cut up. Then things like drug addiction, alcohol abuse and other issues come into their world. Even steroid use. That's even more dangerous because it provides a false positive of results that the afflicted person can use to rationalize into a false pretense of "bettering themselves" through exercise. It lets them hide from the issues that really plague them and use the body growth and resulting attractiveness as a crutch.
Not all body-builders have such issues either. I'm talking about Carrot Top here and what I have seen from him over the years.Expert Moron Extraordinaire

There's no debate. You haven't posted any counter points except for the one about shtick in which you challenged my statements. I am defending my position. If you want to change my mind, convince me otherwise. "It's his shtick" isn't enough of a convincing argument. Especially when I've seen his "shtick" in person and it's quite obvious when his "shtick" is happening and when it isn't.
Dude's got issues. Dude is on something. If he says he isn't, he's lying. He was skinny and slowly getting bigger over the past 10-15 years but in the last 2-3 years he did some serious bulking up. Dude don't get that big that fast. He's also mis-proportioned so he is likely not working with a trainer. If he was, that wouldn't happen.
