I had no idea that Nascarmann had passed away. According to the latest Polk newsletter, it had been mentioned on the forum, but I'm sorry I missed it.

Polk, that was a pure class act in dedicating the issue and having a write-up about him. Very nice indeed!

Next time I fire up the monster SDAs, I'll crank a song in honor of Nascarmann. I'm sure that's exactely what he would want!

John
No excuses!

I agree (though my issue has not yet arrived).

    The original thread is here:

I have no idea how I missed that entire thread. I would have gladly threw in some cash toward flowers.

Thanks to Polk for printing the article.

I'll fire up my Yamaha / SDA combo in honor of him. I feel bad for his family cause this is the time of year when it really hits hard!

    Greetings !

Just wanted to throw in a BIG "CHEERS !" to Russ for the nice letter and kind words that went along with the article.
    I know Shane appreciates it.
It arrived at a nice time of the year, and put a sad,but also happy
    smile on my face :)
As soon as possible - grab a couple of MGD's and a bottle of your favorite "Shine"-- power up the two channel-put on some Fleetwood -- sit back-relax and raise a glass to "The King"

    Happy Holidays !

CHEERS ! to Mr. Gates and all!

    I'm soo late,

If it wasn't for the news letter I woul'd have missed it. The last time I saw a post he was traveling sent a picture of him and his dog at some mountain. When I saw the thread" Were is Nascarmann" I didn't think twice. Though he was traveling again. I'm so sorry, He will be missed. I know he's telling everybody up there about SDA's. Polks up in heaven Wow....

I agree with john, Polk did one class act with their write-up and dedication. I guess that's one of the reasons they call it the Polk 'family'.
