Hey guys, this is my first HT setup. I have a pair of RTi10's, a CSiA4, and a pair of RTiA1's for my rears. With a Pioneer Elite 92 receiver.
Just out of curiousity, when your running a 5.1 setup on a 7.1 receiver. Do you put the rear speakers in the surround terminal (second to last terminals), or surround back terminals (last terminals)?
My first instinct is to put them in the second to last terminals (surround), and leave the last terminals (surround back) empty. Would this be correct?

The back speakers are behind you and the surround speakers more in the middle.
This guide may help.

That's right,use the surround channels.
Just go to set-up and input (no) for the
SB(surround back) channels.
BTW...you can use the SB channels to Bi-amp your RTI 10's.
Just be carefull to remove the jumpers
from the dual binding posts on the speakers and read the manual very carefully.
It doesn't make any difference whether
you use the SB outputs for the high or low binding posts, just make sure they're the same for both speakers.
...Good Luck,that's a great receiver. -
Thank you very much:D. Such a quick response to, very appreciated:).
