Which choice will be more satisfying: the RM10 and a PSW110 or PSW10 for ~ $310 from Amazon or the RM6880 set for ~ $250 from Polk Direct via eBay?
Currently listening to:

Marantz SR5004
Sony BDP-S370
Apple TV V2
Audio Technica AT-LP120
Mirage CMD-5 x 5
Bic H-100

I have a PSW10 in my bedroom paired with some Monitor 30's for a little 2-channel night listening that does a good job. But not sure it's up to the task of any sort of HT. Might depend on the size of the room and what you're aiming for. I don't have any experience with the other speakers you mentioned.
    Speakers: Polk LSi15
Pre: Adcom GFP-750 with HT Bypass
    Amp: Pass Labs X-150
    CD/DVD Player: Classe CDP-10
Interconnects: MIT Shortgun S3 Pro XLR
    Speaker cables: MIT MH-750 bi-wire
    TT:Micro Seiki DD-35
    Cartridge:Denon DL-160
    Phono Pre:PS Audio GCPH

I like the sound of the RM series. And, for a bedroom, they have a little more GFAF or WAF.

Thanks for the replies. They're actually for my dad in a 12 X 12 space, I know he likes it loud but doesn't watch much high-octane stuff before bed. I am however hopeful that he'll hear these and realize the Acoustimass set-up he has connected to a $1000 Pioneer Elite receiver may not be all it's cracked up to be and they Polks may migrate to his main set-up which is an open floor-plan living room. He might need a bigger sub with that in mind.
