I drove halfway across North Georgia to pick these a few weeks ago. I really like their sound, but the wife says too many speakers are cluttering things up. I've had these a few weeks and haven't managed to find a good place to put them or keep them. I had my fun with them, got to hear the legendary 7B, but since I can't find a place in the house, and they are too nice for the garage, they are here for sale. I got a good deal on these and I'm passing it on to my fellow Polkies. SOLD

7Bs in the walnut vinyl finish with a tweeter protection fuse. They have the SL1000 tweeters. They are in good shape. Just a few minor edge dings. As I posted in the vintage section, it looks like all the drivers and tweeters were replaced in the early 90s. They are the original model MW-6502 drivers. One thing: they are missing the Polk emblems on the grills. Sorry.

They will come with a set of stands that are similar to the original Polk stands. The stands are in decent shape except one corner of one top shelf is broken and bent down. It could be fixed by replacing the top shelf on one (or both) with a piece of MDF cut to the same size and painted black.

Again, I prefer local Atlanta pickup. PM with questions. Post here for Dibs.

Listed on local C/L as well for higher price. Polkies get preference though.

Opposite side of town. I'm out I-20 West, approx 20 miles from the intersection of I-75/85 and I-20 downtown.

You better get them Ben. I live closer to Bill than you do and he is still locked into my Garmin from when I got the Parasound amp from him.(btw it still sounds smooth as ever) And they look sweet enough to go in my workshop.

Bill - I cleaned up the thread since it got way off track earlier with the other stuff. I want to make sure your thread didn't get confusing.

The speakers are still for sale....Ben can't make up his mind ;) and Dudeinaroom is AOK. $90! This is a steal for someone wanting to step into a pair of vintage Polks.
CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.

Would you consider shipping yet? If so, how much would shipping me to 13215?

Sorry. No shipping. These old mid-woofers don't like to be shipped. I've got an interested buyer coming over tomorrow, so these will probably be sold.

Justin, how do we change the "Pre-fix" to indicate "SOLD"?

A local guy (non-polkie) bought my 11T and the 7B. He was an old time Polk fan that had a pair of original Model 7 way back in the late 70s. Now that he is older and his kids are grown up, he decided to rekindle his love for Polk.
