Hi all,

My center is currently sitting on 17" speaker stands in front of the TV stand, but it's blocking the remote sensors on some components on the stand.

I am planning to move to 13" stand:

or

Is 13" too low (around knee level when sitting on the couch)?

What do you use for your center channel support? I currently can't install much above my plasma.

I currently use a 17" Plateau ST-CC. What is the plasma sitting on? Any way to move gear around?

Have you tried a phantom center yet?

    I don't want Phantom center, I want my real CS400 :)

It's blocking my OTA tuner, as you can see in the picture.

Move your mains up the carpet and give it a try, it may work better than your CS400. It's free to try. ;)

If you're dead set on having a center, place it 13" off the ground(use phone books, etc..) and see how it sounds to you.

Distance from center to the couch is only about 5', so no go on moving mains.

I'll try the phone books :)

I built my own stand for my CSI A6, to soit above my 50"plasma. It just out of MDF and spray painted black. It anin't perfect but it'll do untill my HT room is finished er (started).

I can post picks if you like but it 's not perfect.....
