Center Speaker Quandry
Just got my CSi A6 yesterday (to replace a CSi3) sound is gorgeous (even prior to burn in)
BUT: the thing's HUMONGOUS!!! Leading to my Quandry...
It'll just BARELY fit in my media cab's Center speaker compartment (1/4" air space above, plenty of side room) - (i new this was case before I purchased but CSi3 wasn't cutting it with RTi10's)
What do you y'all think about putting it in cabinet, with little space around,
VS on end next to my teeny TV (thus being off-center)
Has anyone noticed much of an audio quality loss when center's packed in tite??

I'd keep it in the cabinet for the best performance.CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.

I would not put it in the center channel opening because of the rear ports. They need room to breath. It will sound boxy. Build/buy a shelf or sit it on your TV with the kickstand.
ScottI like speakers that are bigger than a small refrigerator but smaller than a big refrigerator:D -
The rear ports are designed so you may place them against the wall or in an enclosure such as the one you have.CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.
