Just got my CSi A6 yesterday (to replace a CSi3) sound is gorgeous (even prior to burn in)
BUT: the thing's HUMONGOUS!!! Leading to my Quandry...

It'll just BARELY fit in my media cab's Center speaker compartment (1/4" air space above, plenty of side room) - (i new this was case before I purchased but CSi3 wasn't cutting it with RTi10's)

What do you y'all think about putting it in cabinet, with little space around,
VS on end next to my teeny TV (thus being off-center)

Has anyone noticed much of an audio quality loss when center's packed in tite??
LR Setup:
Polk RTi10's, RTi6's, CSiA6 (5 ch setup)
Onkyo 705 & Denon 3808ci Receiver, Onk 875
Parasound 2250 Amp
Sony 26" KDL series Bravia LCD
Panny DMR-EH75 Recorder
Panny DVD-F87 (5 disk DVD player)
NAD T585 (DVD/SACD)
Yamaha DVD-C961 (5 disk SACD/DVD)
SciAnt Explorer 8500HD Cable Box
Orig & 5Gen iPods, , Wii

Plans/Fantasies:
• 400 disk player that handles ALL formats, sounds as good as NAD with Panasonic interface & compatability.

I'd keep it in the cabinet for the best performance.
CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.

I would not put it in the center channel opening because of the rear ports. They need room to breath. It will sound boxy. Build/buy a shelf or sit it on your TV with the kickstand.

I like speakers that are bigger than a small refrigerator but smaller than a big refrigerator:D

The rear ports are designed so you may place them against the wall or in an enclosure such as the one you have.
