Well I know where to get an Adcom GCD-600 for $50. Should I go for it? I am using a Sony CD changer, and was looking to get an outboard DAC for the CD changer, but I have found this deal for the Adcom. Anyone have experience with it?

Thanks
Ben

Yeah thats the part that gets me. I do know that there is a lot of pre's they make that I don't like, but the inards of the GCD-600 seem to be on par with the GDA-600. Kinda tempts me. I don't like to buy something, and sell it if I don't like it. I don't feel right.

For $50 bucks it's a no brainer. Great multi player with a very competent DAC section. As long as the transport and laser assembly works, $50 is a great deal. I bet it sounds quite a bit better than the Sony you have.

Its the DAC section that grabs me. I'll see if I can get it. I will test before I buy. There have been some runs of lemons with this model.
    Thanks Guys
