Tried to look up a thread started by Polkie "X" and had to end up going through 8 pages of the Buy/Sale area to find the daggum thread.

Also, the "chat" area with friends has some wording missing. The only way I found it was to click onto some arrow that was also half missing.

Running Firefox, is this why?

Click on "show all statistics" in the user profile.
I never had it like this where I grew up. But I send my kids here because the fact is you go to one of the best schools in the country: Rushmore. Now, for some of you it doesn't matter. You were born rich and you're going to stay rich. But here's my advice to the rest of you: Take dead aim on the rich boys. Get them in the crosshairs and take them down. Just remember, they can buy anything but they can't buy backbone. Don't let them forget it. Thank you.Herman Blume - Rushmore

You can either click on the person's name and select 'Find more posts by', or if you want to find only those threads started by a user click Search=>Advanced Search, type in the user's name, and select 'Find posts started by'.

You both are correct. Tcrossma, you are correct but only in the test area as far as I can see. ZombieBoy, you are correct for the rest of the forum where it goes into the new settings.

    Thank you both.

Maybe it is something with your browser then, not sure. When I use either the Advanced Search or the 'Find more posts by' methods, I get all posts across all forums, sorted by date descending.

No, you were correct with both of the ways you described. Let me clarify. The first way you told me how to do it, only works in this [test area] forum....at least for me, that's how it works. Using the advanced search and then selecting "find all posts by" works like a charm every time. I was able to look up what I was trying to find earlier in a matter of seconds.
