    I have zero friends.

I'm gonna change my name to "Friendless John".

At least I won't need one of those lame "3D virtual chat characters" walking around half nekkid in a black speedo.

LOL I think it is simply the replacement for the buddy lists. Everyone I had in the buddy list generated an email to make them my Friend instead. LOL!

I wonder if we will get emails asking us to confirm our ignore list?

You will be judged on how many friends you have, and then exterminated.

I keep getting requests, but it's more fun to reject them, than to accept them.

The thing I don't like about it is that it seems that whoever is on your friends list, everybody who is your friend [and their friend] can see the message. I read a fellow Polkies [what seemed to be "private"] message today that I doubt the recipient [or the sender for that matter] even knew others could read.

Could someone explain the details before [foreseeable] fighting erupts?

If you want it to be private....then send a Private Message, just like the old days.

If you want it to be public....leave a "Visitor Message" or you may turn it off altogether in the options menu.

You folks sure are technologically challenged for being a bunch of "audiophiles" :)

I was going to report that, until I noticed that the dude in the crushed green velvet jacket is wearing one.

This is turning into Mr. Freakin Rogers Neighborhood
Boy, it's a strange day when people actually want to be my friend
    Me???

It's a beautiful day in this neighborhood,
A beautiful day for a neighbor.
    Would you be mine?
    Could you be mine?...

It's a neighborly day in this beauty wood,
A neighborly day for a beauty.
    Would you be mine?
    Could you be mine?...

I've always wanted to have a neighbor just like you.
I've always wanted to live in a neighborhood with you.

So, let's make the most of this beautiful day.
Since we're together we might as well say:
    Would you be mine?
    Could you be mine?
    Won't you be my neighbor?
    Won't you please,
    Won't you please?
Please won't you be my neighbor?
