I had a look at the Panasonic DMP-BD50 Blue-ray player in our local electronics store the other day. Nice looking machine with good upscaling capabilities. The sales guy, who is a friend, told me to wait until the fall and they will go on sale. Besides, I do not spend too much time indoors once the nice weather arrives.

    He's right Mike, the end of year sales will start and they'll be clearing out for the new models. It's time to spend time outdoors fishing with your son. I'll bet the days are starting to get long?

    Carl, the days are staring to get longer. Right now we have about 19 hours of daylight with the peak in June. Not quite 24, but no real darkness after midnight. May as well enjoy it as winter comes quick here.
    I wanted to go pickerel fishing this weekend but it never happened. Maybe next weekend.
