Used Nitty Gritty 1.5. Was asking $400.00. Offered $300.00. Accepted. Paypal and shipping $339.00 to Canada (gasp). Yes Canada. Seems like a good price. Any opinions on the machine, the price, shipping to Canada? Oh wait....nix that last one.

    Some people swear by the NG's others by the VPI. I've had both and prefer the VPI but both are good. I'd also invest in a steamer.

    I just bought a 1.5Fi 3 mons ago for $125 from a co-worker. Sent to NG for a checkup/refurbishing = $225 and that included a new pump and oak cabinet (essentially made it a 2.5 Fi). Very nice cleaner and looks good too.
