The Radio Queens

Here is a shameless plug for my nephew’s band “The Radio Queens”, I am still not that thrilled with the name but hey what do I know? This is a three man band, which is influenced by many of the classic rock bands and artists. All three are real studio rats that care about “the sound”, and use some old school recording techniques.
This album has an “concept album” feel to it as songs are faded into to each other and trade off one to the other. There are some real nice songs you can pick and choose what you want but I encourage you to just buy the whole CD (can you believe I haven’t had a single class on marketing) so you can get the whole vibe of the album.
Amazon gives you a preview of each song, if you want to preview the “hits”, I recommend you pick tracks 3 5 6 9 11 12 13. Tracks 11 and 13 are the best songs on the CD, 13 is a true story about the death of the lead singer’s Aunt, killed by his Uncle.
I did the previews and realized every song has “intros” that then expand to larger sounding songs so you may came away thinking these songs are thin and don’t rock, but them a chance and you will see they have a really cool sound of their own.

Band website: http://www.radioqueens.com/ (not fully up and running just yet, but will be soon)
Thanks
