My speakers recommended watt output is only 100 watts (I have the in ceiling RC80i's). My amplifier max's out at 105 watts.

If I turn on my amp all the way (to 105), will this be bad for my speakers?

yes if it is clipping. Your receiver can put out more watts than the speakers

. Just use your own judgement if i sounds like the speakers are distorting turn it down. As far as wattage my onkyo has 130 watts per channel and my surrounds are 120 watts, so i am overpowering them but for me it sounds cleaner. O yeah you never want to turn the receiver up all the way either you will not get a clean sound.

Yes you will most likely blow your speakers as well as your ears! It's easier to blow speakers with not enough power rather than too much.
