Watt Output for Speaker

My speakers recommended watt output is only 100 watts (I have the in ceiling RC80i's). My amplifier max's out at 105 watts.

If I turn on my amp all the way (to 105), will this be bad for my speakers?

Nope. You are the master of the volume control. If you hear distortion of any kind turn it down. Speakers tend to be blown lower power than high power.

Karaim, you can't turn your amp "all the way(to 105)"; the amount of power that the speakers need at any given moment also depends on the level of the incoming signal. It's entire possible that on a low level moment in the sound only a watt or two would be used even with the volume control at max. The maximum capacity of 105 watts would seldom if ever be actually needed. Don't worry; enjoy your music.
