Hi there,
I have a 13,5 long x 8,5 wide room which I will use as our new home theater room. It has a very good insulation and I recieved following equipment recommendation:
Polk Audio SWA 500 amplifier
Polk CSW 155 subwoofer
3 Polk speakers LC 265 i (to be located on the top of our 42 inch Bravia LCD)
4 LC80i speakers to be ceiling mounted
Do you have any ideas if this system is OK for the room size an what would be the recommendation to locate the subwoofer.

http://www.onecall.com/ProductDetails.aspx?id=87496 has your speaker, and they were so good with me on my order that I definitely recommend them to anyone. I think your going to be amazed on the sound for that room.

While that is an amazing sub for an in-wall unit, my only comment is that it does not go very deep frequency wise (I mean, it is only a 10" sub, so you can't expect it to hit that low).
If you are looking for "speak with elephants" style deep bass, this sub will not cut it. I mean really, the LC 265i's lower limit is lower then that sub can hit. I really would say get a non-wall unit sub if you can. I know looks are one thing, but your other speakers just out-class that wall unit sub, and for the 265i's are least, would be better off simply being setup as full range, since they produce reproduce the deep bass better than that sub does.
Again, I am not knocking on the CSW155. It is amazing that Polk could even get a sub in that form factor and have it perform to just under 40Hz as well as it does. But for "home theater" and movies, you need something that bites down to 20Hz or even 16Hz as the new DD-HD and DTS-HD audio streams on Blu-Ray/HD-DVD support going that low and the studio sound engineers are now using a lot of that especially in action movies (you know, explosions, helicopters, guns, and even other ambient sounds...). -
Finding optimum sub placement is usually trial and error.
