Prayer Request

My Aunt Evalee had emergency open heart surgery this past Friday.

A clot moved from her leg to her heart. Fortunately my niece was there and called 911. The surgery was successful though initial efforts to remove the ventilator were not successful.

Today was the best news I have received in a long time. She is off the ventilator, became conscious and able to answer some questions.

Aunt Evalee is 82 years old and has lived a very full life. She is the last of all the elders in my family.

I know I rarely post, am no writer and really don't undertsand all the tech stuff, etc.. I spin them, enjoy them and call our guru's when I have questions.

I do know there are many good people on this forum and request your prayers for a speedy recovery.

Went through something similar with my 80 year old mother recently. It is really amazing what some doctors can do these days. But when our time is up......We will remember her in our prayers.

Preyer's sent for your aunt, and family.
Please. Please contact me a ben62670 @ yahoo.com. Make sure to include who you are, and you are from Polk so I don't delete your email. Also I am now physically unable to work on any projects. Thank you so very much for your prayers, thoughts and good wishes.

Aunt Evalee will be moved out of ICU to a regular room! She remains a little off in her responses and unfortunately sees things that are not there at times. She tries to yank her oxygen and IV's out as well.

My cousin John put it this way "she sure has her strength back"!

If things go well over the next week, rehab at some place for 30 days then back home. She may need a caregiver or nurse pending how things go.

As of now, Aunt Evalee has improved markedly from where we were last Friday.

    Thanks again, all the best.
