So....I'm a bit confused here. I posted in George Grand's thread at 11:20am this morning to buy some of his albums AND make an additional donation to the Githens Center(from me missing Polkfest AND on my own accord since I just came into a bit of of extra funding recently). For whatever reason, it seems George deliberately ignored my post, as he said on Audiokarma:

Now I'm not sure what issue GG has with me, as I have not a single issue with him and have heard nothing but great things from everyone who has met him in person and interacted with him on the forum. I'd really like to get this matter cleared up.

It's not even about the albums at this point, just like to figure out what's going on as I'm sure we'll cross paths at some point.

Anyway, George, should you decide to read this PM me an address and I'll send a donation anyway minus the cost of the albums.

I hope to get this cleared up.

    George Grand does what he wants and makes no apologies, move on with your life. You can make a donation to that charity at any time.

    Thanks for the reply, and I appreciate your useless comments as usual on the forum. But I'm gonna let George reply to this one as I'd like to get the matter cleared up as the donation just wouldn't be the same if I just mailed some money directly to them.

    EDIT: If you actually took the time to read the thread, I'm not looking for an apology. As I said, there was no wrongdoing and I'm just looking to clear up a matter is all.

    Because the person I'm trying to talk to didn't want to handle it that way. (impossible to get a response via PM). Not to mention I don't even think you can PM someone that has you on ignore?

    Bagged, just let it go and put your money to another charity that you don't have to work so hard at. It was a very generous gesture, but since it appears it fell on deaf ears don't stress about it.

    Continuing to converse about it is only going to create a trolling thread that will eventually get flushed. As you can see your genuine concerns aren't getting a response for the man "in lights" and now Ron is trying to make it circle the drain.

    At this point nothing good can come of this thread so let's move on. There are a thousand charities that can use your donation.

You post about why someone isn't responding to you; Mark gives you an answer that is not even on the sarcastic meter for him and you respond by calling his posts useless as usual. Mark can stick up for himself, but that's bush league. I'm sure you are in the minority thinking that he doesn't offer a lot to this forum.

    Seems to me that you want to toot your own horn by making a public donation to the charity through George and let everyone know how righteous you are. Just make the donation and be done with it. Nobody needs to know, nobody needs to congratulate you on a job well done. Fact is, whether or not you make the donation, you are still on George's ignore list. Are you losing sleep trying to figure out why?

    I gave that response to Mark because as usual he was reading what he wanted out of a post and made a response before even processing the information. The response was completely irrelevant to the original post I made as no apology was being asked of. Nor do I think Mark is a spokesman for George, I think George is capable of making his own comments. I didn't say that he doesn't offer alot to this forum, but that was one of his usual comments that you can find littered through threads that doesn't really have relevance to the thread.

    I'm not trying to toot my own horn in any way, but I said i would give money to George to give previously when I went to Polkfest(which I didn't make). Therefore, I wanted to clear this matter up, follow through, and figure out what's going on since I'm sure we will cross paths face to face in the near future(if he goes to Polkfest). Apparently you are in the same boat as Mark in failing to read posts completely. Not trying to call you out, but you need to know the whole story before making a comment like that.

You chose to make it a point to ask why you were being ignored and that until here from him you were not going to donate to his charity. My point = if you want to donate, DO IT!
