Anything that will consistently reach out and touch a 12" steel plate at 1000 yds makes me excited ;)

So many reasons that wouldnt be produced for sale , or even legal here in the states....but if these guys http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bureau_of_Alcohol,_Tobacco,_Firearms_and_Explosives .... and these guys http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States_Department_of_Homeland_Security suddenly had a brain **** and said what the hell...why not :D....that would be an INSTANT purchase for me.

Magpul's very, very late to the party. The Aries, M21, and PP-99(?) guns were nearly identical to that, and must have come out close to 20 years ago.

In full-auto design this weapon would be illegal for private ownership. A suitable semi-auto model would probably be legal as an SBR or AOW/gadget gun as long as you paid the tax stamp. If they made a version of that with a barrel over 16" I assume it would be free of any such strings.
