And on to the big TV!

I use to have my laptop and stuff on a desk in my closet -- now I am running it through my TV and the 2 ch rig. I am rockin! Oh yeah!

    Looks good.

    If you can, I would try moving the mains towards you a little more. Getting them a little further away from your TV and gear should help improve imaging.

    Back when I had my big ol cabinet - they sounded better closer to me. When I freed up all that room around them, it really let those tweets breathe and brought out some harshness. So using the tube output on the CDP and pushing them farther back into the room sounds best with that arrangement.

    Trey, that's how I have ended up placing/hooking up mine for the best sound as well. Do you have a 50Hz spike coming from the Taylos in your room?

    I havnt ran a graph --

    But it seems very balanced...

    The bass response of the Taylos are just surreal - I am finding it hard to justify a subwoofer with my current arrangement and usage. They rock hard... for sure.

    Are you using any panels --

    They absorb alot in that freq range

    At 50 Hz? Hmmm, I have read otherwise. To answer your question, no. I have no panels.

    I'm not sure if panels will go that low either, that's more like column type bass trap territory.
