Help with "Bookmarks"

I'm running Explorer and it seems I'm locked out of doing anything with my Bookmarks. I cannot delete any, or delet or add folders, heck I cannot even add bookmarks. Any idea what's going on?

Maybe you are not logged in as the Administrator. Try rebooting the Computer and loggin in as admin.

How do I do that? Just the other day I was able to edit them but no today I cannot.

When I try to delete certain bookmarks I get a window popup saying "failed to delete item"

Well When you start your computer do you log in? Or does windows just start up automatically? See when I start windows I have to have a password in order to get into windows. That way I know I have administration rights.

It's auto start, I don't log in.
