This is old (in aerospace terms) news, Buran flew (unmanned) 20 years ago in 1988, the roof collapsed 6 years ago.
Chernobyl was April 1986 and Kursk was (Aug?) 2000... At least now the Ruskies are spending their money wisely: oil, natual gas, and gov't run (raided) businesses.
