I know I shouldn't, but I love all this stuff thats coming out on him. If its true, and for the sake of my entertainment, I'm going to assume its all true, he sure is having one hell of a year so far. He's been one of my least favorite sports figures for a long time now. I really hope that the 15 year old singer and the former Mrs. Daly are just the beginning.

LMAO! He's such an arrrogant pr*ck, I'm glad he's getting dragged over the coals!
I don't care how GOOD a talent you are, in anything. If you're not a decent human being, then you're just garbage to me!

So far, he is accused of :
    - steroid use
    - having a sexual relationship with Mindy McCready starting when she was 15-years old
    - having a sexual relationship with John Daly's then-wife.

    What a winner.

I saw a fair amount of his recent testimony. He really came across as an ignorant self centered SOB. Not a good image when sitting before Congress.

He's just one of numerous pro athletes that think they are invincible. It must suck to play all those years and make all those millions, get to retirement and have to spend your days in court paying lawyers.

We all have a free will and choices in life, so if this is what he chose then too effing bad! Time to pay for the sins of your past Roger!

What happened to the days when sex was just sex and a man could use his fame to have sex without getting flack from the people not having sex. Let the man do drugs and have sex.

Ask his wife and children how they feel about that. Let's see, married with 2 kids and getting chummy with a 15 year old girl. Yeah, nothing wrong there.

I have no problem with that. In fact I believe ALL pro athletes should be on steroids.

I do draw the line at banging someone elses wife. You got the fame and money so bang the groupies. You sleep with other peoples wifes your nothing but a scumbag.

It's not that he had sex, it's that he had sex WITH A KID.

Yeah, statutory rape is a ****. I think it's just stupid that this stuff makes the news with everything else going on. Clemens is one of millions of people who do drugs, have sex with underage people and cheats on his wife. I don't like making him special. I would rather round up all the **** bags and shoot em' I hope Congress finds a way to have months of hearings about his affairs.

If all is true (and I personally think it is), this just goes to show that even one of the most revered athletes of our generation is a piece of shite! That's why it's refreshing to see guys like Tiger Woods - seems to be a real stand up guy. It's sad and depressing to see that professional sports has evolved into this.

That being said, there is NO SHOT that this guy doesn't have his bust in Cooperstown. He is a shoe-in, first ballot hall of famer. They might have to mold his bust from his mugshot!!!!!!!

While I agree with the comments about his attitude and the fact that he deserves the public scrutiny and humiliation (assuming the stories are true), punishing him doesn't solve the problem. They should punish the teams and take away team honors, for what was accomplished when he was playing for that team. That will start to provide more oversight and emphasis on player behavior and ethics, and provide peer pressure to keep players inline.

I wouldn't have a problem with it either if there hadn't been a CHILD involved.

What would you do/feel if you had a daughter who finally got around to telling you she had sex with a grown MARRIED man who has kids of his own?

Some things are just NOT acceptable on any level. having sex with a child is one of them.

Adults can do what they want & just suffer the consequences if they get busted for it.

Athletes have been a sorry bunch in all generations. The clean cut ones are the exceptions.
Guys like Troy Aikman are few and far between.
Other than him, Moose, and Emmitt Smith, the rest of the 3 superbowl teams
were a bunch of thugs. Dope, smoke, whoring was the order of the day
for most of the Cowboys. I'm sure the rangers weren't far behind.

Not to stereotype, but it's not surprising. Truly talented athletes that make it to the pro level tend to get through early life very easily, skating through school via athletics, and if they make it to the pros they're not only arrogant from all the attention they've gotten but now they're rich to top it all off. Take an arrogant, sparsely educated 19-year old and give him millions of dollars, how do you think it's going to turn out?
If you will it, dude, it is no dream.

I think that it has gotten worse and worse each year. The good guys USED to outnumber the thugs. The Redskins teams of the 80's (except for Dexter Manley) were the guys I looked up to. Guys like Jacoby, Butz, Mann, Monk, Green, Gibbs were/are all stand up guys, great players and donated time AND money to their charities. Now it seems like an athlete who acts as a human should is an anomaly.

There are very few "Sports Heroes" these days, most atheletes in professional sports are spoiled fools who are playing a game for a lot of money for a lot of people who don't realize how duped they are into paying so much to receive so little in return.

1000% Agree on Tiger. Too bad more pro athletes don't have former Green Berets as their fathers.

what pete rose did pails in comparison to what clemens is being accused of ---hhhmmmm

IF all this turns out to be true -- RC should be deported -- banned from the country ---

But he's always been a arrogant person -- there is a DJ here in Austin on kLBJ that tells a story about clemens when he was playin here at UT & he was just a kid and ask him for an autograph & RC knocked him down or pushed him out of the way
