Awesome looking movie, I was a fan of the original and like Johnny, but he's no Gene Wilder when it comes to this one. Just a hollow effort and a generally creepy and unwatchable movie. Anyway, yours for $8.

They botched this movie BIG TIME. The main premis of the original was how Charlie was poor and gave up the everlasting gobstopper at the end, even though he was promised big money for it, and Willy ripped him a new one.
The whole lesson on character/honesty was dropped. Hollywood....Jolida Tube
