My XBox just died. I'm pissed.

I registered it online and they say its out of warranty by 4 months.

If I call them Monday and raise hell, will they help me out or am I out some coin here?

Symptoms --- start it up, it will "freeze" - then wont start up right again.

Just saw Micro$oft extended the warranty to 3 years if it experiences the ring of death. Nice.

If they do not extend the warranty, let me know I will give you the hook up.

You have ALL the XBOXes!!!!!?????????!!!!!!!!! How are you able to do anything but play all the time? I wondered where my original XBOX went. Now I know, Sid stole it. Dang thief.

Sorry to hear that it died though. I have heard MS is being fairly decent about getting these things fixed depending on the type of failure that you have had. A few buddies at work are in the same boat you are and their's have all been repaired with no questions. Good luck man.
I know just enough to be dangerous, but don't tell my wife, she thinks I'm a genius. :D

as long as it is the 3 quarters red ring when you turn it on (top right black I believe?)
and the light on the power supply has to be green when it is turned on (check that if you havent)

if the above is true, your covered under the three years. do an online request for repair, they send a paid shipping box, you'll get in back after a total of about 2 or o weeks. sucks, but at least Microsoft is stepping to the plate on it.

I bought the PS3 when it hapenned to me, figured I'd use the blue ray any way, but I still use the Xbox the most.
