Well, the movers picked up my stuff on Monday and the fire sale to buy the new Quad 988's has left me a little bereft of hifi gear hear....right now, the venerable 7A's are in the living room in the HT rig with a cheapie Sony DVD playa and the big Denon receiver.
You know what? It sounds pretty effin' GOOD. I've been listening all morning and I'm pretty blown away by how much I'm enjoying it.
As a side note, for you classical enthusiats or folks that would like to be....find the magazine ClassicalFM. Well written and interesting plus each issue comes with a CD that's well done with snippets from various classical pieces. Expensive (as most Brit magazines are....HiFi+ and HiFi News are KILLING me) but well worth it.

Add me to the list of people currently listening to a pair of 7s. I'm really surprised that they fill my great room (18' ceilings and open to foyer, kitchen and dining room) with ample bass and a really full sound. If I had gotten a hold of a pair of these back in 2005, I probably wouldn't have gone through half the gear that I've had in the last three years. For rig details, see my profile. Nothing here anymore...
