The other night, TLW and I went to see Keith Urban and Carrie Underwood here in town.

Now, I'm not a HUGE country fan but, I'll be the first to admit, I'm warming to it. A lot of the stuff coming out is not only good in terms of content but well recorded to boot.

Now, Carrie Underwood, IMO, was pretty disappointing. She sounded very screechy and just not tremendous stage presence....so it was just okay for me. The eye candy factor was pretty high but that's really about it.

Keith Urban, totally different story. Man, THIS guy can play. Just ridiculously talented, great sound, great show...the whole nine yards. If you get to see him, by all means, go. Very highly recommended. I'd easily say one of the best live acts I can recall.

Troy, I can turn you onto a lot of good country music. Not only good music, but VERY polished recordings. I've expanded my collection in that genre' ten fold over the past year so.

    Russ,

School me. Wendi's got a lot of stuff on CD and find myself listening to it more and more.
