I have a fusion EN-AM8001 Encounter Monoblock Amplifier, the spec are as follows:
Product Specifications
262 Watts RMS x 1 Channel @ 4 Ohms and 1% THD+N
368 Watts RMS x 1 Channel @ 2 Ohms and 1% THD+N
Max Power Rating: 800 Watts
THD @ Rated Power 1kHz/100Hz: 0.1%
Frequency Response Hz (-3dB): 10Hz - 250Hz
Signal to Noise: >90
Variable Low Pass Filter: 6dB/Octave
Bass Boost @ 45Hz: 0dB/6dB/12dB
Input Sensitivity: 0.2-8V
Input Impedance: 20K
Fuse Rating: 25A x 2
It is a 2ohm stable amp, my guestion is how do i wire my sub to be 2ohm stable?
The specs for the sub are as follows:
It is a Volfenhag zx-4712 1000w max 4ohm + 4ohm dual voice coil usable impedence is 2-8 ohm. How do i wire this thing at 2 ohm stable?
If i can wire my sub 2 ohm stable ill get more rms out of my amp

The sub has 2 sets of terminals.
Wire the +'s on the sub on the + to the 'bridged' amp. Do the same for the -'s.
Done, 2 ohms all around. -
im having a little trouble understanding what your saying. it does have two sets of posts on the sub itself but it only has one thing on the back of the box where the wire runs to the amp. Also for clarification what do u mean by the term bridged amp. just need som clarification thanks.tyler birch

Is the box wired as 2 ohm mono. If yes, you don't have to do any real wiring.
A bridged amp is an amp that only has 1 output, or feeds a single speaker. -
This may help. Just scroll down a little...http://www.rockfordfosgate.com/rftech/woofer_wizard.asp?submitted=true&woofer_qty=1&woofer_imp=4Big thanks to "Neskahi" !
