Cerwin Vega At-100 As Fronts

This may be a weird question, but I finishing up my HT. I have replaced all my old HTiB speakers with (4)M30s, PSW10 and a CS1 center. The only thing left is to buy a new receiver. I am planning on getting the ONYKO 805 in a couple of months. Since I only have a 5.1 set-up now, and the new receiver will give me 7.1, I will need two more speakers. Can I use a mint pair of cerwin vega at-100s that I bought in Germay in 1991? They are great speakers, but huge. I would like to really use them instead of just for music. Would they be too powerful for the ONYKO to power, or will they drown out my other smaller bookshelf polks?
