Has anyone tried this CDP? I have heard the Quad CDP2 and want to know if anyone has heard these side by side?

please do a search, this used to be the most recommended player on this forum. I had one a while back, it was the best CDP I have ever owned. I eventually replaced it with a Squeezebox and nice DAC and never looked back.
