    Either one will work.
Good music, a good source, and good power can make SDA's sing. Tubes make them dance.

    I would pick spades
    Dodd - Battery Preamp
Monarchy Audio SE100 Delux - mono power amps
    Sony DVP-NS999ES - SACD player
    ADS 1230 - Polk SDA 2B
DIY Stereo Subwoofer towers w/(4) 12 drivers each
    Crown K1 - Subwoofer amp
    Outlaw ICBM - crossover
    Beringher BFD - sub eq

Where is the remote? Where is the $%#$% remote!

I found spades annoying to use on 2B's. The "cups" that the binding posts are recessed in are on the small side. I would also recommend bananas.

Bare wire (12 guage from the hardware store) wrapped around the terminals.

Feed the cable on the left side of the terminal so that as you tighten the terminal to the right, the tightening process wraps the cable onto the post. If you feed the cable from the right side of the terminal then as you tighten the terminal it will result in the cable being pushed off the terminal.
