    A piece of Polk history, that's about it.
    CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.

    read thru that and a few others.....thanks....was looking for someone who has actually listened to them...reviews and write-ups are ok for general info....but I was doing a "search" for someone who has heard em ;)

    I use both of the Goertz cables mentioned on that page. I prefer them in my rig more than anything else I've come across.

    They don't sound that great but that's just me.

    I tried cables everyone swears by, Shotgun S1's, and IMO they didn't sound that great at all in my rig. The Goertz cables beat them without a doubt. If these Polk cables are anything like Goertz, they may work in my rig also.

    without rereading threads, i believe those polk cables needed to be used with some caution, somehow frying amps if something was done wrong, can't remember what it was to watch for off the top of my head, but i remember something being an issue.

    Doro, you remember off the top of your head or am I nuts here?

    You're correct, I've read the same thing a few times.

    I believe it was receivers or low end amps though.

    It's a bunch of wires and not the easiest animal to "terminate". One crossed wire and you have some issues.
