Im buying a pair of SDA-2A today.Need help

Hi.I just decided to go with a set of SDA-2As instead of RTA-11TLs.Hope I made a good choice???Anyway some of you probably remember me as I was on a couple days ago trying to decide what to get.Ill be paying around 200. Ill be hooking them up to a pair of adcom 565s and a 555 II preamp and matching cdplayer and tuner.(All white)Those have all been sitting in the closet for 7 yrs.Im also going to use audioquest midnight3 cables.Anyway I hear I need to do some mod to my amps(strapping)How do I do this exactly??From past experience I remember I had to run wires from all my equipment chassis to the chassis of the triplite voltage regulator I was using at the time.I even had to ground the TV cable to it.Some guy at a local stereo shop said I could try using 3-2 prong power plug adapters.Help me out guys.Im really excited about getting my old system up and running again.(former owner of LS70s)I hope they sound as good or better.

    Those 565's ar mono's right? I think I read those are not good with SDA's. Read up over the last few threads on SDA's.

    A post from a few days ago said you can use them as long as you strap the neg speaker terminal to the chassis.I hope it works...

    Plug both amps into the same grounded outlet and check (with a multimeter) for continuity between the negative speaker terminals, and then check for continuity between the negative speaker terminals and chassis ground (Somewhere on the each amp chassis). If the negative speaker terminals are both at ground potential, you are good to go. Leave the amps powered off for this simple test.

    You could also check for voltage between the speaker negative terminals and chassis ground with the amp powered up. You should see no voltage (maybe a couple of millivolts) for common ground.

    Alternatively, one of the Adcom experts here can probably tell you if the mono 565's are common ground.
