    Me.

My dad owns a body shop. I have been doing it all my life.

I have a run down of the complete process.

There are 3 different types of pearls I used. Two white pearls and one blue.

The paint job alone would have ran $150+ for a walk in. Thats on the low side. The pearls are Extremely expensive. Don't tell dad!:D

Unless somebody shows up with some cash real soon I think I am going to keep it.

I had a sweet listening session yesterday with it and it blew me away.

I listened for about 5 hours and towards the end I decided to push it. It hasn't been past the 12 o' clock mark in a long time. I put in some Alan Parsons and turned it up a little at a time. I'll be damn if I didn't max the volume out. And it was just sweet as ever. The Parsons CD is bit low gain but still. It was very impressive..

Maybe its not time to move on...

I hope I don't get flamed for it. But I think I am going to mate some Lsi's to it. I just can't help it. If it doesn't sound right I will just keep the Lsi's until I get more suitable amplification. I don't think there efficiency is any worse then my 7B's and the amp is four ohm stable.

I apologize for putting this here as it really is not the place, and if you would like me to delete it just let me know, but isn't 50 watts HUGE to try and get out of 2 EL34's? Do you think this is a case of Jolida exaggerating the specs much in the same way they do with the phono stage as per another thread?

    There are four EL34's

But I assume you mean two for one channel.

    Correct?

I think it might a bit exaggerated. Its probably closer to 40wpc. But who knows. I have know way of doing a bench test.

The only specs that matter are what your ears tell you. What is says on the paper is just another way to enlarge your e-peen. If it sounds good, it is good.

Push-pull EL34 willl do 50 watts, as in the EICO HF-52 integrated. Definitely at the limit, though.

Great, but be aware the LSi 7's are in fact a lot less efficient, but that shouldn't preclude you from giving it a try because I know a few people on the forum who run low power tubes with LSi's. Just don't expect it to play at loud volume. Depending on your set-up it may actually be to your liking. You won't know until you try it.

My 15wpc tubes sound good; I can imagine that 40-50wpc would sound great. I wish I had some coin for this amp because it is a great deal!

Yeah we have a maple tree that shades the deck.

I tried to keep the **** out of the shots but I guess I missed some.

On a sadder note I'm really gonna miss the Jolida.:(

But I am anticipating better things to come.:)
