Polk PSW1000 woofers DIY cabin

Hi, I just bought 4 PSW1000 woofers.
I want to build these intoo a closed cabin because i want as much sting in it as possible,(I am going to use 2 of them as a center channel sub)
Thinking of 500w bash amp.
Annyone got an idea for the cabin, not intoo building these..
Dont know what size and shape that will give the hardest hitting bass.
Please help me

I take it you are wanting to do something different from Polk's design of dual side-firing drivers? You might take a look at how SVS configures their dual driver subs as a starting point.____________________________________________________________

your gonna want to get t/s parameters on those drivers and go with a program that will give you box dimentions based on what you want.
If you have to shoot from the hip, I would go large and sealed (and seperate the enclosure between the drivers) or go vented with the same interior volume of the psw 1000
cant see 500 watts not being enough, especially if you go large cabinet, but I dont know if those drivers are 4 or 8 ohm. 2 4 ohm wired parallel would be 2 ohms (might be bad for the amp) 2 8 ohm wired parallel would be 4 ohms total = A-OK
series wiring will double the impedance. 2 4 ohms = 8 ohm (A-OK, but amp not driving 500 watts to 8 ohms, probably more like 300 ish) should still be fine though.
there's a lot of resources out there for subwoofer DIY projects, I did one myself back in the day (still use it), but I bought a driver that had plans out for it already. made the planning stages real easy. I upgraded the driver to a SVS plus driver a year or so ago and took a chance since my cabinet and the SVS plus box sub cab were similar in dimensions, and my gamble paid off with a drastic increase in performance.

Yes, i want to make a closed cabin.. I think that will give the bass a litlebit more punch..
Tryed to ask Polk Audio for some help on the box, but they refused to help me. -
