Neither. I think both of those are a wash and either one is a good choice.
CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.

That's what I thought. I currently using CV4 with DBS to be specific and like it. But found a good deal on 8TC and is also in mail so wondering which one I should be using. To be honest with you, I usually bought most item online based on Forum members' recommendation. I have never seen or heard them outside before I bought and haven't got wrong. Thank you Mark.

You have the DBS to boot? Cool. I've wanted to hear those since they get a decent amount of press in the positive. I don't know if I buy the whole battery idea but am willing to give it a shot.

If you have the 8TC on the way, be sure to burn them in well and then give us your impression compared to the CV4. I'm interested in hearing your opinion of the 2.

Sure I will H9 but that'll not be a good write up like doro, mantis, darqueknight, early b or jstas, etc..

MKZ - You don't have to writeup something like DK, he's a nerd and lives for that stuff. Let the gang know what you find out.

I would love to take you up on that offer but I don't even have speakers right now.....hell I haven't for a couple months :) I appreciate the offer.
