Hey all... here's some pics of the stereo setup in my room
As soon as I hooked everything up, I was really impressed with the RTI10's. Midbass is so amazing. Way better than I expected. It almost sounds like I have a sub, so I don't think I'll be getting one (at least not for a while). This post doesn't really have a point. I just want to show my appreciation to the RTI 10's. I can't even imagine how the 1.2TL's or LSi series must sound.
...sorry for the messy room

Nice setup. Those stereo HK's really look pretty good for driving decent speakers. Does the bass stay tight at high levels? BTW the soothing HK sound has got to sound real nice with the RTI tweeters. Any listening fatigue. Inquiring minds want to know.Please. Please contact me a ben62670 @ yahoo.com. Make sure to include who you are, and you are from Polk so I don't delete your email. Also I am now physically unable to work on any projects. If you need help let these guys know. There are many people who will help if you let them know where you are.
Thanks

Thanks
Yeah, the bass is still spot-on at the higher end of the volume spectrum, even if I turn up the bass knob. The woofers are 7" so they have a bit of punch to them, but they still play pretty low imo (better than i had expected). I haven't used these speakers with another receiver, but the highs with the HK are pretty smooth and I've yet to experience any listening fatigue. -
Good budget setup! I have a 3480 running some Lsi7s in my bedroom. It's a great little receiver, and unbelievable for the money IMO.
I know space is at a premium, but you would get slightly better sounstage, imaging, etc. if you can spread the RTis out a couple feet. Might also toe in an inch or two, but probably don't need much if they are less than 6 feet or so apart.
Enjoy!Stereo Rig: Hales Revelation 3, Musical Fidelity CD-Pre 24, Forte Model 3 amp, Lexicon RT-10 SACD, MMF-5 w/speedbox, Forte Model 2 Phono Pre, Cardas Crosslink, APC H15, URC MX-950, Lovan Stand
Bedroom: Samsung HPR-4252, Toshiba HD-A2, HK 3480, Signal Cable, AQ speaker cable, Totem Dreamcatchers, SVS PB10-NSD, URC MX-850 -
Nice . Looks like you have about as much room as I do, which isn't much. I use a HK 3485 & lsi'9's. At one point I took my queen sized bed outta my room & it was nice to have a little bit of walkin room .Sound was better My back soon convinced me to bring the bed back!!!!
Enjoy -
Nice! You guys are lucky! I really want to audition any speaker from the LSi line. Unfortunately, with school in the way I can't get what I really want. This will have to do until then, though!
Thanks for the advice, I'm moving a few things around, so I think I'll be able to spread them further apart. -

Rti10's are a perfect match with HK. The Rti10's are my favorite out of the Rti line- still have a pair even though I've upgraded. I'm not ready to let them go yet.
