What little I know about home audio I learned in the last few months since stumbling onto this forum.

Problem is...now I can't just sit back, listen and be satisfied. I'm always tinkering and trying to figure out how I can convince my old lady the system I was happy with a few months ago needs some upgrades.

I even bought one of those damn SPLs. WTF! I'm a sick man.

    CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.

    Oh don't worry, an SPL meter is just the beginning. Soon you won't even trust that your SPL meter is giving you correct information. "That can't be correct, that doesn't even sound right!" You know you're an audiophile when you make decisions on audio despite what science says...
