That wouldn't be a bad idea for here but I'm sure the two channel section will sufiice. It's been relatively quiet around lately no sense in starting a war.

I think the median age of my vinyl records is about 30 years. No holes in any of 'em yet!

Many people don't realize the main problem with CD's being damaged is the top of the CD becoming scratched. If the top of the CD gets a scratch on it, it's gone. If you don't believe me, try scratching a blank one with a knife, then hold it up to the light. I put a clear plastic label on the top of all my CD's to protect them from this. That won't make them sound as good as vinyl though.2 Channel rig:
