sr speakers in 07 dodge ram

any tips for me in installing these in the 07 ram mega cab,......one set for the front and one for the back. seperate amps for each set. oh i almost forgot they are sr 6500 series 6.5

    To get the most out of them, be sure to make a MDF baffle (coated in something to resist water), as well as properly sound deadening the door.

    The SR's come with a 6x9 adapter. I used this on mine. Slap a layer or 2 of Dynamat around it and itll be just right.

    thanks for the door speaker advice..........now what should i do for a sub? get the polk db 12 " and build it under the rear seats in the mega cab, or put it behind the seat?

    and finally the amps i bought two fosgates 400 watt 2 channels on sale, will they work the speakers fine?........for a deck i havn't bought anything yet but noticed the new jvc 810 doubledin dvd combo look good.detachable screen/face...anybody try one yet?

    do you have the navigation package? If not, you will have to go to the dealership and buy it, it cost around $100, to fit a double din.

    If it's easy for you to make a MDF ring I suggest it. I used the plastic 6.5 ring and it made noise at higher listening levels and I used a layer of deadener behind it.
