I did a search about this movie and it came up with nothing so I'll just ask the question. Does anyone know anything about "In the name of the King" movie that is being released today (4-15-08). Is it good, bad, etc.? Here is a link to the trailer.

I just looked it up on RottenTomatos.com and it got 2.4/10. Not sure this is worth the blind buy now.

I watched it last night, if you have nothing else to watch or do, then its worth killing a couple of hours with, decent battle scenes and a couple of cool FX, especially the teleporting by the magicians, the worst part of the whole movie by far is Ray Liotta, terrible casting with that part. If your into this kind of movie it might be worth a rent for you.

" Hey, Honey, I'm going out and pick up some milk. How about if I stop by Blockbuster and pick up 'In the Name of the King' ?"

If your spouse or significant other should ask this question of you, take no chances.
Run immediately to the stove, turn the burners on full, and put your face into the fire: this should hopefully provide enough of a diversion that the subject of renting this movie will be forgotten.

It's a small price to pay in the long run and someday, you'll thank me.

This "movie" makes "Terror Tunes" look like "Gone With The Wind".

If need be, if you still feel an inclination to "just take a peek" at this monstrosity, please let me know.
I'll send you a check for $1000 or, if you wish, I'll deposit in your Paypal account (I'll eat the 3 % fee, too).


It will be a small price to pay in order to keep the fabric of humanity whole.

Hahaha, good stuff BBL.

I saw an ad for this on tv last night, and it did indeed look like a steaming pile of ****. Honestly, its like the last 10 movies he's done have all been the same damn thing, just in different clothing...

He was actually not a bad actor before these non-stop "ridiculous action" roles, but now I'm sick of seeing him. Check him out in Lock Stock sometime. He doesn't have to dive around like a ninja for 90 minutes to make a decent movie......contrary to what directors believe now.
